Baked donuts!

baked vegan donuts

Makes 2 dozen

Dry Ingredients:
1 cup white flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
4 tbsp melted, room temperature margarine
*Pick one of the below!
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp hazelnut extract

Preheat oven to 350F

Combine wet ingredients in one bowl, and dry ingredients in the other (with a clean whisk for both)

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix. The consistency should look a little sticky/gloppy. This is good.

Fill your nonstick donut pans HALFWAY (any more and you'll get these weird muffin-tops, trust me!) and bake for 12-14 minutes.

Once they're done, take 'em outta the oven immediately and flip the pan onto a wire cooling wrack. Ice (once they're fully cooled!!) or coat with cinnamon sugar immediately. :)
